Snow, Dinner and Mini Vacation

It has been too long since I posted new pictures. We were able to send a sandwich ziploc bag to Korea for Callie. Travis had the best idea. We took a flash drive and filled it with pictures of our life. We also included a vibrating teether, a toy phone, and an outfit. We are still having trouble with our I-600. The U.S. Gov't has lost our paperwork. They first tried to claim they never received it, but we had delivery confirmation with signatures. So, now we are waiting for them to locate and process our paperwork. This has been going on since December. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.

We had quite a bit of snow in late January and the first part of February. Travis made the scariest snowman (see picture). We also played in the snow alot and made snow ice cream. It was fun and good.

Travis cooked a great dinner for me last week. He made Shepard's Pie with asparagus. Yum-O!

Travis and I have insane schedules right now and don't have much free time to be alone as a couple. Luckily, my parents watched Jenny for us to get away for the weekend. We went to Clarksdale, MS and ate at Madidi. The food was spectacular! After the restaurant, we went to Ground Zero Blues Club. The music was great and the atmosphere was interesting. If I included all the details of our night at Ground Zero, no one would believe me! We stayed the night in Tunica and went to the casino in the morning. We took off-interstate roads to and from Mississippi and found a fantastic BBQ place called Shadden's. It is in a 100 year old store and has some of the best BBQ I've ever had. This was one of the best weekends of my life!
